Wine: Azzurra Chardonnay and Acting

Comments

Chardonnay... wine... drinkable... that's all that matter. Yup. Hooey on the intricacies of 'tasting' anyways! LOL!

And regarding the kissing scenes, those girls are not professional actresses are they? They probably still feel they need to be in love to kiss someone. I bet it wouldn't matter if you were Brad Pitt, or George Clooney. But really, what do I know?
I love your way with words! "The fact that they approach the task like they're getting ready to clean a litterbox" ... that would bug me to no end to, but the way you describe it is great. Hope the arm-ouch heals quickly!
Oh, I'm certain it's not you that is making them so weirded out. They are probably just skittish types. Still, I can see where that would be a bit off-putting for you.
I too have grown tired of Chards, but rally fond of New Zealand sauvignon blancs...as for uninspired actresses, you're working with amatuers and they with a pro...its tiresome but you will be okay.
Yeah, those girls just don't sound like they are being professional at all. Once you get into role, you shouldn't have to think about those sorts of things.
Oh yeah, I forgot another thing... I don't care for chardonnay either. I prefer sampling reds. I'm going through some here and there... I only take little notes because I don't remember all the technical terms in the world of wine tasting.
Make it work for you, eat lots of garlic and onions. LOL
[this is good]
I wouldn't take the kissing thing that seriously or personally. I would have to prepare myself in some way for a scene like that even if it *were* Brad Pitt. I'd just feel shy and self conscious about it and need to get my head in a place where I could pull it off naturally.

hey you are back. we've missed you.

am having some fun with chardonays, there's some great stuff out there ... there's a place for robust (big hearty australian chardonnays) and there's place for the subtler whites (sauvignon blanc) ... it can be all yummy stuff

agree. i love your litter tray reference ... very apt

Thanks. I'll blog more consistently when the play's done. Right now, I go from work to rehearsal to bed.
